Part of my sustainability consulting work is with kids – I host an educational program for the youth center at Castle Square Tenants Association. It’s part of a broader outreach program for the community.
This is me with one of this kids – we were going through slides of the energy efficiency project at the complex (www.castledeepenergy.com) and got to a picture of an infrared image of a building before and after insulation was installed (in the right side of this pic). They thought it was a total riot when I stood in front of the picture and turned multicolored. So we all got up and tried it. If you can’t wow ’em with science, at least have a good chuckle, maybe they’ll remember some aspect of the presentation!
